Just yesterday, I was talking to my officemate in the pantry and the topic was about wedding planners. For me the idea of having them work for your wedding is essential. They can check every single detail and can save you a lot of work. However, she contested the idea and said that sometimes it doesn’t really work that way. According to her, her cousin hired a wedding planner on her wedding but the result wasn’t satisfying; thanks to the intervention of her mother and everything in the program got worse.

I was thinking that it could be frustrating on both parties. In the part of the planner, to have someone interfere with your job can be annoying. On the side of the couple’s parent’s they’re just thinking of what’s best for them. But the bottom line is always coordination. Glitches are unavoidable, the planners are expert and maybe this time mom doesn’t always knows best.
